COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Hoptoberfest is set to close out downtown Coldwater’s summer festival season this Friday evening on South Monroe Street featuring craft beer, German-inspired food, and live entertainment.
This year’s Hoptoberfest will feature an array of Michigan craft beers, served up with traditional German food. Music will be provided Jay Fox and the “Jammin’ Germans” band, while The Bavarian Tänzer Dance Troupe from Fort Wayne is also returning to the event again this year.
Hoptober Fest will feature fall brews from :
- New Holland Brewing Co., and their Ichabod Pumpkin Ale, is a seasonal choice featuring notes of malted barley, pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- The Upper Hand Brewery from the UP will be serving their easy-drinking amber ale, Deer Camp.
- Brew Detroit will offer its Corktoberfest, a German-style Märzen beer.
- The classic Sam Adams Octoberfest will also be available, known for its smooth malt flavor and caramel hints.
Hoptober Fest is a 21 and over event that runs from 5-10 Friday evening on South Monroe Street and has a $5 cover charge .
