BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings won their fourth straight game on Friday night as they smashed the winless Comstock Colts 52-0 in the Vikings Homecoming game at Charles Hilton Field.
Bronson jumped out to a 14-0 lead after the first quarter on a two yard touchdown by Sam Tappenden and a 17 yard TD scamper by Jace Hoard.
A blocked punt sent up the third Bronson touchdown as quarterback Spencer Losinski called his own number and scored from three yards out on the first play of the second quarter.
Losinski later threw a seven yard touchdown pass to Devin Stuart and Conner Harvey tacked on a three yard touchdown to put the Vikings ahead 38-0 at the half.
The second half was played with a running clock. The Vikings added two more touchdowns in the third quarter on a 42 yard run by Aiden Whitaker and a 14 yard house call by Homecoming King Stevie Wilson.
The Vikings went for two points after all seven touchdowns and were successful on five of the attempts.
Bronson had 249 yards rushing led by Drew McConn with 69 yards on seven carries. Hoard had 55 yards on four carries while both Whitaker and Wilson rushed for 52 yards. Bronson had 53 yards in the air for just over 300 yards of total offense.
The Vikings are 5-1 overall and 4-1 in Southwest 10. They will play at White Pigeon next Friday night.
