COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School boys 8th grade A team lost to Harper Creek 58-24 Tuesday. Garret Johns had nine points while Donte Work had seven points. Hunter Muson tossed in five points. Their next game is Thursday at Jackson Northwest.
The 8th grade B team lost to Harper Creek 46-2 Tuesday night. Redwan Alshehay had four rebounds. Alex Robey had two steals.
Legg’s 7th grade A team defeated Harper Creek 40-34 to improve to 2-1. Grant Carter had a team-high 11 points while Zach Coffing had nine points and 19 rebounds. Jack Ruden had six points and three assists. They play again at home Thursday against Jackson Northwest.
The 7th grade B team dropped a 25-19 decision to Harper Creek Tuesday night. Kaden Voyce and Hugo Mojica led the way with 6 points each while Nabil Saeed had 3 and Ammar Abdullah and Rayce Johnson scored 2 each. Rebound leaders were Mojica with 12 and Abdullah with 10.
