UNDATED (WTVB) – The volleyball teams of the Big 8 Conference played their final matches Tuesday night, just ahead of Saturday’s league tournament at Stockbridge.
Bronson improved to 24-14-6 overall and remained perfect in the Big 8 at 7-0 with a 25-15, 25-16, 25-18 win at Reading. The Vikings remain an honorable mention in Division 3 in the latest Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association poll.
On Senior Night at “The Coolest Gym in Michigan,” Quincy honored their two seniors, Olivia Davenport and Kyha Brewer, and took Division 4 #10 Concord to the limit. The Yellow Jackets prevailed 28-30, 25-21, 25-15, 23-25, 15-11 to drop the Orioles to 17-8-4 overall and 5-2 in the Big 8.
Union City improved to 21-16 2 overall and 4-3 in the Big 8 with a 25-8, 25-17, 25-19 victory at Maple Valley.
