HORTON, MI (WTVB) – Union City saw its season end at Hanover-Horton Friday night. The Comets led 24-0 after the first quarter and never looked back as they defeated Chargers 44-6 in an MHSAA Division 7 District Semifinal game.
Union City’s only score came when Braxton Miller connected with Carson Liles in the second quarter. Hanover-Horton led 38-6 at halftime and invoked the running clock early in the fourth.
The Chargers wrapped up their season with a 5-5 record. The Comets improved to 8-2 and will host Bronson next week in a Division 7 District Final after the Vikings downed Jonesville 52-12.
