COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater High School seniors Zach Rigot and Claire Sheppard have been named as Wendy’s Heisman Scholarship School winners.
They are among over 7,500 athletes who were named as school winners from a pool of nearly 42,000 Class of 2019 applications.
Rigot and Sheppard will now have a chance to move on in the scholarship competition and become State Finalists, State Winners, National Finalists or National Winners.
National Winners will get $5,000 college scholarships as well as a trip to New York City to attend the Heisman Trophy award ceremony Saturday, December 8, 2018.
