BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The high school football season ended for Branch County teams last Friday night as Bronson was beaten by Hanover-Horton 20-12 in a M.H.S.A.A. Division Seven District title game.
It looked like the Vikings were heading to a hard-fought win with less than two minutes to go as they were clinging to a 12-6 lead. But then the wheels came off thanks in large part to what it being called in Jackson County as, “The Miracle on Moscow Road”, a 70-yard desperation touchdown pass which was followed by a pick six for the Comets in the closing moments.
The Pigskin Prophet says Bronson would win 31-20 so we close our Branch County high school football predictions for the season with a record of 26 and 13.
We’ll continue with our college and pro picks and for the season, the PP is 73-42-1 overall.
