BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The City of Bronson has secured $1.95 million in federal funding for infrastructure improvements at its wastewater treatment plant.
This federal allocation is part of a larger $2.6 million project aimed at enhancing the plant’s resiliency and capacity to serve the community.
The funding will support upgrades including improvements to sludge pumps, the ferric chloride feed system, ventilation, building enhancements, and a new computerized monitoring and control system (SCADA).
Bronson City Manager Brandon Mersman says the funding is a significant achievement, enabling immediate action on critical infrastructure needs and ensuring reliable services for the future.
