COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It was announced during Thursday’s Community Health Agency Board of Health meeting that the sampling for PFAS contamination in Branch, St. Joseph, and Hillsdale Counties is nearly complete.
Director of Environmental Health Paul Andriacchi reported to the board that all 21 samples have been collected in Branch County while 19 of 20 samples have been collected in Hillsdale County and 37 out of 38 samples have been collected in St. Joseph County.
The results from the samples have not yet been received except for the sample taken from the City of Bronson which came back negative. Results from the other samples should be known in the weeks to come.
