COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In girls high schoiol volleyball Thursday, Coldwater defeated Vicksburg 25-18, 25-15 and Three Rivers 25-15, 25-15 in their final regular season matches.
Tyler Scheid led from the service line with 7 aces, also tied with most kills with 14 and added 10 digs. Olivia Foley led in assists with 39 and had 13 digs, Abby Herman had 8 kills, Ellory Farmer had 4 aces and tied for most digs with 15, Sam Rodesiler had 14 kills, 3 blocks, and 7 digs, and Malorie Rzepka had 15 digs and 9 kills
Coldwater’s record is now 29-16. They will host Sturgis in the first round of the MHSAA districts Monday at 6:00 p.m. Live coverage on AM 1590 and FM 95.5 WTVB starts at 5:45 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to wear red to the game. Donations of used volleyball shoes and knee pads that are going to be given to Haiti to help start a volleyball clinic will also be accepted.
