EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Tonight’s men’s college basketball game between Michigan State University and number eight Iowa has been cancelled due to COVID-19 issues within the Spartans program.
MSU head coach Tom Izzo announced yesterday that his son, sophomore Steven Izzo and freshman Mady Sissoko had tested positive for the virus. According to a statement by Michigan State, a third unidentified person within the program has also tested positive.
Officials from both schools will work with the Big Ten to reschedule the game.
