ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – A traffic stop led to the search of an apartment and the arrest of six suspects in Angola Saturday on drug and weapon charges.
After a vehicle was pulled over by Angola Police at West Broad and North Darling, Michael Forrester was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
He along with a passenger, Talina Curea, were also charged with possessing a handgun without a license, methamphetamine, a hypodermic needle, marijuana and paraphernalia.
A second passenger, Jessica Jones, was also arrested on the same charges as Curea except for the marijuana possession count.
During the traffic stop, investigating officers determined that an apartment at the University Inn Apartments on the west side of Angola needed to be searched. After getting a search warrant, three more persons were arrested. Stephen Fetzer, Jacob Nodine and Lydia Tuckerman were all charged with possession of methamphetamine, a hypodermic needle and paraphernalia.
Ages and hometowns of the six suspects were not listed in a press release from the Angola Police Department.
Angola Police were assisted by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office and the Steuben County Prosecutor’s Office.
