COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School boys basketball teams were swept at home Wednesday.
Harrison Marsh led the 8th grade A team with 14 points and was named the Coach Thompson Player of the Game. Archer Stumpf had eight rebounds.
The 8th grade B team fell short 38-32. Skyler Prusakiewicz had 11 points, 13 rebounds, and three steals. Leyden Cebrero had six points, seven rebounds and one steal. The team travels to Harper Creek Thursday.
The Coldwater 7th grade team also fell at home to Marshall Wednesday.
The Bronson 7th and 8th grade teams both won at Reading Wednesday.
The 7th grade team came away with a 28-24 victory. Jayden Drennan was the leading scorer in the game tallying 11 points, five rebounds and three steals. Easton Case had nine points, seven rebounds and five steals.
In the 8th grade win Hudson Himebaugh had 16 points with 12 points from Luke Bir and 11 points for Jaydon Calloway.
The Vikings begin post season play next week, as they host opening night Big 8 Conference tournament games at home, playing Quincy.
