COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities Board of Directors approved a recommendation to the City Council Tuesday to revise their rules, regulations and rates.
CBPU Director Jeff Budd says the majority of the changes are based on updates needed to reflect the shutdown of their analog cable system as well as some changes in their administration and business practices.
The language covering cable television has been removed since Skitter TV is now providing the service.
Budd pointed out Skitter now sets the rates for its high definition cable television which launched in Coldwater last January.
The analog cable system shut down last month to make room for higher speed Internet services. The analog system was established in 1998 but it became obsolete.
