QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Village Council voted 5-2 Tuesday night to adopt a resolution which will create the $5,000 application fee for licensing medical marijuana manufacturing facilities in the village.
Village Manager Eric Zuzga says the applications will be available starting November 1, 2018 but they can not be submitted until 10:00 a.m. November 15, 2018.
The resolution not only sets the fees, it also approves a Village policy and the application process for medical marijuana manufacturing facility licenses in the Village.
The Village Council also approved an early retirement incentive that would allow an employee to retire in January.
An increase in trash rates was also approved to match an increase in costs according to the village’s contract with Republic Services.
