COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners approved appointments to six boards during their regular meeting on Tuesday afternoon.
The Veterans Affairs Board drew the most applications as 14 persons expressed an interest in the two available seats.
Following a roll call vote, the Commissioners named Terry Andress and Tim Rzepka to serve on the board. Their terms will expire at the end of 2029. Rzepka received four votes, Andress had three votes and there was one vote for Rod Olney.
In addition, Michael Kelly was re-appointed to a three year term on the Airport Board, Russell Siler was re-appointed to serve on the Department of Public Works Board for the next three years and Sara Zeller was named to the Branch County Planning Commission. Her term will expire at the end of 2028.
The Commissioners also name Ginger Kesler and Don Thrasher to serve three year terms on the Commission on Aging Board while Karen Smith, Susan Smith and Stephanie Calhoun were named to the Branch District Library Board.
