COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Not seasonally adjusted jobless rates decreased in 17 of Michigan’s 18 labor market areas in September, according to data released today by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget.
Branch County’s unemployment rate is the lowest in the area at 3.9 %, with Hillsdale County at 4.3%, St Joseph County at 4.4%, Calhoun County at 5.1 %, and Kalamazoo County at 4.2 %.
77 Michigan counties displayed unemployment rate declines from August to September.
