BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Andy Williams once sang It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year. That is certainly the case during the month of December if you’re a football fan with the college football postseason and the final weeks of the NFL regular season.

NFL
We were a perfect 3-0 in our NFL predictions last week.
Rams 35, Lions 26 (Rams won 41-34)
Bears 27, Browns 10 (Bears won 31-3)
Vikings 24, Cowboys 20 (Vikings won 34-26)
In the holiday spirit of Uncle Billy losing the $8,000 deposit from the Savings and Loan, we forgot to pick the Packers-Broncos game which Denver won 34-26. WHERE DID YOU PUT THE MONEY UNCLE BILLY???
Needless to say, it was devastating loss for the Packers as Micah Parsons suffered a torn ACL and is done for the season.
With the Bears winning last Sunday, Chicago is once again leading the NFC North.
The Packers defeated the Bears 28-21 two weeks ago on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field. First place hangs in the balance Saturday night in the rematch at Soldier Field.
The PP thinks the Bears will get the job done this time in front of the home fans and defeat the Packers 34-17.
Meanwhile, the Lions are on life support after Matthew Stafford did some knee biting last Sunday in the Rams 41-34 win.
The PP has said it before, he’ll say it again. Stick a fork in the Lions, they are done like dinner. Pittsburgh’s run defense will stop Gibbs and Montgomery and Pittsburgh’s pass rush can zero in on Jared Goff who moves with the speed of a tree trunk. The Terrible Towels will be waving at Ford Field on Sunday.
Steelers 27, Lions 20
For the record, the Vikings will beat the Giants 27-10 in a real nothing burger game.
After going 7-1 last week, the PP is now 115-66-1 overall for the season.
