COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Both the Coldwater and Quincy Police Departments have sworn in new police officers this week.
In Coldwater, Tre Miller was sworn in Wednesday morning at Coldwater City Hall. A lifelong resident of Branch County and a 2024 graduate of Coldwater High School, Miller brings a strong local foundation to the department. During his high school career, he completed criminal justice coursework at the Branch Area Career Center before gaining professional experience as a Corrections Officer at the Branch County Jail.
Meanwhile, the Village of Quincy and Quincy Township welcomed Officer Travis Hurley to their team this week.

Following his academy graduation, Hurley was officially sworn into office during Tuesday night’s Village Council Meeting.
Officer Hurley is set to begin his Field Training Officer (FTO) program immediately.
