ADAMS TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Former Adams Township Clerk Stephanie Scott and attorney Stefanie Lambert have been bound over for trial in Hillsdale County’s 1st Circuit Court.
The two face charges related to an alleged unauthorized breach of 2020 General Election voter data.
According to Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, the allegations stem from Scott reportedly allowing an unauthorized computer examiner access to non-public information.
Scott is charged with felonies including using a computer to commit a crime, misconduct in office, and disobeying orders from the Secretary of State. Lambert faces felony charges of using a computer to commit a crime, unauthorized access, and conspiracy to commit unauthorized access.
A pre-trial hearing for January 12th.
