Karen Sue Walls, 63, of Quincy passed away peacefully at her home Monday, January 5, 2026.
A visitation will be held Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. with a time of sharing beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
Cremation will follow the visitation.
She was born August 14, 1962 in Coldwater Michigan to Edmund and Dorothy (Rimes) Middel. She went on to marry the love of her life Frederick “Scott” Walls November 19, 1983. Karen and Scott have two wonderful daughters that she adored.
Karen lived in Quincy her entire life and graduated from Quincy High School in 1980. Together with Scott they were the proud owners of Once Upon A Child in Jackson, Michigan. In her spare time Karen enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren who lovingly call her Momo.
Karen would most always make time for playing cards, camping and relaxing with a good book. She was very proud of both of her daughters and all of her grandchildren. She loved genuinely and unconditionally. Momo is a name in this family that will never be forgotten.
Surviving alongside her husband Scott are their two daughters, Nichole (Bryan) Parshall, grandchildren Andon Parshall, Garrett Boger and Wyatt Boger of Coldwater; Kourtney Walls, grandchildren Kenadee (Kayne) Walls, Morgenn Stauffer-Walls and Kaycenn Stauffer-Walls of Quincy; Sisters, Marlene (Bobby) Mosley and Jacqueline Halliwell; very dear Aunt, Barbara Whitcomb; and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund “Ed” and Dorothy “Dot” Middel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family to establish a scholarship fund in Karen’s name.
