COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Downtown Development Authority Board gave City Manager Keith Baker permission Wednesday to take a proposal to the City Council to keep one block of South Monroe Street south of U.S. 12 one way, which would allow for the placement of an outdoor patio.
Baker said the patio area is already marked off.
The one way street was originally planned to provide more parking during work in the Chandler Plaza parking lot, but the one way street and the angled parking got many positive reviews during the summer.
