Cheryl Ann McFadden, 63 of Coldwater passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at The Laurels of Coldwater.
In following her wishes she is being cremated and the family will have a celebration of her life at Northview Christian Church in Coldwater Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
The family was cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Cheryl was born December 9, 1957 to Charles and Sandra (Orr) Thorp in Vallejo, CA. She earned her Med. Tech. Degree after graduation from high school and worked for many years with the Hope Network Assisted Living company. On July 29, 1979 she married the love of her life, Dale McFadden in San Jose, CA. They later moved to Coldwater.
Cheryl attended Northview Christian Church. She really enjoyed traveling, which she and Dale did in their motorhome. Cheryl could not pass up a yard or garage sale, always looking for a good deal. She adored animals, especially cats and dogs. Her true joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Cheryl will be missed by many.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dale McFadden of Coldwater; her children Bryan (Tiffany) McFadden of Newnan, GA, Alison McFadden of Deltona, FL, Michael (Desiree Fulton) McFadden of Coldwater, Douglas (Geri Randall) McFadden of Orange City, FL, Evan (Amanda) McFadden of Ponce Deleon, FL, and William Vanness of Coldwater; her siblings Teresa (Saul) Rodriguez of Manteca, CA, Scott Thorp of Coldwater, Daniel Ball of Jackson and Michelle Barnes of Bronson; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren; 4 nieces, 4 nephew, and great niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Denise (Lee) Fleming, step-mother, Julia Thorp and her niece Julianna Pitts.
