ALBION, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater bowling teams traveled to University Lanes Tuesday afternoon to take on the Western Panthers.
The varsity girls won their meet 27-3. They were led by Alana Houtz with a 201 game and Grace Tuttle with games of 179 and 170.
The varsity boys won their meet 22-8. They were led by Zach Robison with a 190 game, Aiden Butters with games of 184 and 176, Carson Smith with a 179, and Braylon Wood with a 177.
Western has two boys JV teams, so Coldwater’s JV girls bowled one of their JV Boys teams and lost 22-8. The JV girls were led by Carolina Noveron with a 122 game.
Coldwater’s JV boys won 16-14. They were led by Brandon Hughes with a 176 and Andrew Yelavich a 163.
The Cardinals will participate in the Sturgis Invitational this weekend at the Bronson Strike Zone, with the girls competing on Saturday and the boys on Sunday.
