HOLT, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school volleyball Saturday, Bronson finished second at the Holt Invitational on Saturday as they lost to Battle Creek Lakeview 2-1 (25-22, 23-25, 15-13) in the finals.
Lakeview also defeated Bronson in pool play 2-0 (25-22, 25-17).
The Spartans were ranked sixth in the state in Division One while the Vikings were ranked second in Division Three by the Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association in last week’s polls.
Lakeview got a measure of revenge against the Vikings after Bronson defeated them last Saturday in the finals of the Portage Northern Invitational.
