UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings and the Union City Chargers both won a pair of matches in a Big 8 Conference quad wrestling meet hosted by the Chargers on Wednesday night.
Bronson defeated Concord 72-12 and Maple Valley 57-23 while the Chargers knocked off Concord 66-6 and Maple Valley 60-21.
Bronson’s Caleb Harvey accomplished a personal milestone thanks to a pair of pins which gave him 100 career victories.
Harvey pinfall win against Maple Valley came in just 13 seconds.
Other Vikings who won two matches were Brayton Cosby, Dreyton Turner, Connor McClelland, Brycen Fincham, Layne Kniselly, Conner Harvey and Sam Tappenden.
Double winners for Union City were Onalee Taylor, Kaden Russell, Westin Connell, Gabe Mowry, Kelub Miller, Carter Bezaire, Wyatt Thompson and Luke Cronkright.
