BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson High School girls varsity basketball team finally broke through Thursday night, picking up their first home victory of the year, with a 50-16 home win over Reading. The Vikings are now 2-9 on the season.
The Bronson JV fell 34-14.
Also Thursday in girls basketball, Springport beat Union City 43-38, Concord topped Quincy 44-25, North Adams-Jerome beat Tekonsha 38-32, and Hudson defeated Pansophia Academy 85-3.
The Coldwater boys and girls varsity basketball teams, as well as the girls junior varsity team, will host Jackson Northwest today. The JV game begins at 4:00 p.m., with the girls varsity game at around 5:30 p.m. and the boys shortly after 7:00 p.m.
The 2026 Coldwater Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony will be held between the two varsity games. This year’s Athletic Hall of Fame Class includes inductees Kurt Darrow (’73), Tad Thayer (’88), and Jeff Bilsborrow (’88).
