COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School 7th grade A volleyball team lost to Parma Western 2-1 (19-25 25-16 6-15). The season record now stands at 5-2-2.
McKenzie Scheid was 17-17 with 11 aces on the night, Kennedy Clemens was 6-8 with 1 ace & Isabella Pool was 3-3. Scheid had 18 digs to lead the team followed by Payton McBride & Caroline Miller 9 each, Morgan Dancer & Hailey Price 5 each & Emma Porter 4.
Legg’s eighth grade B team lost the first two games at Parma Western 10-25 and 17-25) on Thursday evening before winning the third game 15-5. The Cards were led by Aliyah LaVergne who served for 11 points including 4 aces. Caley Stout added two kills.
