BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school swmming and diving Tuesday, Coldwater topped Battle Creek Central 109-77.
Jayda Kelly broke the team record in the 200 Freestyle and Mia Rzepka broke the one meter dive record. Rzepka also qualified for dive regionals with her fourth win in the one meter dive. She becomes the first Lady Cardinal to make it to dive regionals.
Other Cardinal Ladies bringing home wins were Kelly in the 200 & 100 Freestyle, Kory Ulrich in the 500 Freestyle, Jillian McKinley in the 50 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke and Rebekka Lund in the 100 Breaststroke. Also Kelly, Ulrich, Ella Budd, Lund, McKinley, and Paige Kirkpatrick all came home with a share in three relay wins. The Coldwater girls swim again Saturday in Sturgis.
