COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Clemens Family Corporation, the parent company of the Clemens Food Group, has announced a major executive leadership transition that will place a fifth-generation family member at the helm as the company continues to expand its massive Coldwater operations.
The leadership changes, effective May 1, 2026, include Brad Clemens becoming Chief Executive Officer of Clemens Family Corporation, while Chris Carey will become President of Clemens Food Group.
Craig Edsill, the current CEO, will retire April 30, 2026, but will remain as Chairman of the Board.
This transition coincides with the ongoing $150 million expansion of the Coldwater pork processing facility, which is expected to create around 400 new jobs and remains a key part of the company’s growth strategy under the new leadership.
