QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – In boys high school soccer, Quincy topped Constantine 5-3 Wednesday. Quincy scored two goals while playing a man down.
Axel Beltran scored twice for the Orioles. Also scoring for Quincy were Brody Glei, Bryce Pierce and Elijah Wiley.
—MIDDLE SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY—
The Legg Middle School cross country teams competed at the Harper Creek Invitational on Tuesday. Laney Yearling took second in the 6th grade level earning a medal with a time of 15:07 and was 5th over in all grade levels. In the boys race, Claudel Wishmeyer took 6th place 14:55 in the 6th grade level earning a medal. James DeWitt took 15th place in 7/8th grade division earning a medal with a time of 14:00. The Legg teams will travel to Harper Creek next Tuesday for the I-8 Jamboree at 4:30.
