COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Graduating seniors in Coldwater have only a few weeks left to apply for the Coldwater Police and Fire Scholarship, as the March 6, 2026, deadline quickly approaches.
This locally funded initiative, established by the Coldwater Public Safety Department, provides financial assistance to students from Coldwater High School or Pansophia Academy who are pursuing a two- or four-year degree in a police or fire safety field.
To be eligible, applicants must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and cannot be children of current department staff.
Interested students should pick up an application from the Coldwater High School guidance office or access the online portal through the Branch County Community Foundation. All submissions, including required recommendations and transcripts, must be completed by 3:00 p.m. on the deadline date to be considered for this year’s awards.
