SHERWOOD TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Sheriff’s office has released information regarding a stolen vehicle that was recovered last week in Sherwood Township.
In a news release the Sheriff’s Office says February 10, 2026 they successfully recovered a stolen white GMC pickup from Sturgis in Sherwood Township while acting on a tip. Deputies located the vehicle parked in a driveway in the 900 block of Heights Drive.
Following the discovery, a search warrant was executed and one individual at the scene was taken into custody.
The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the recovery and took possession of the vehicle for further processing.
And the person that was arrested had absolutely nothing to do with the stolen vehicle! Wrong place at the wrong time situation!
