MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – The high school boys basketball regular season concluded Friday night with league titles on the line. For the second straight year, the Interstate 8 boys basketball championship will be a shared title. Marshall defeated longtime rival Harper Creek 56-43 to finish tied with Pennfield atop the league standings at 10-2. Last season, Marshall and Pennfield shared the I-8 championship with Harper Creek.
In girls basketball, Parma Western ran the table in the Interstate 8 with a 49-31 win at Jackson Northwest to close out the league portion of their schedule at 12-0.
