KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater sophomore Grace Tuttle will be the lone Cardinal bowler going to the MHSAA Division 2 Girls Bowling Singles Finals this coming Saturday, February 28th, at Century Bowl in Waterford.
At Saturday’s Division 2 Singles Regionals hosted by Vicksburg at Continental Lanes in Kalamazoo, Tuttle finished third with a six-game total score of 1075, including a high game of 194. The top seven finishers qualify for the Singles Finals.
Three of Tuttle’s teammates finished in the top sixteen: Kylie Cook was 12th with a score of 918, Alana Houtz was 15th with an 883, and Ashlyn Cleckner was 16th with an 877.

The Cardinal boys didn’t have anyone finish within the top seven. Zachary Robison led Coldwater with a six-game score of 1013, which was good for 22nd place.

Tuttle will join five bowlers from Bronson and Quincy in representing Branch County at this year’s Finals. Bronson’s Clayton Shortridge, Drew McConn, and Audrey Shiery, along with Quincy’s Drew Carlisle and Ally Janssen, will take part at the Division 3 Singles Finals this coming Saturday at JAX 60 in Jackson. The Viking boys bowling team will be at JAX 60 on Friday for the Division 3 Team Finals.
