FLOWERFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – 47-year-old woman is in stable condition following a rapid emergency response to an overdose in Flowerfield Township on Friday.
St. Joseph County Sheriff’s deputies, along with the Schoolcraft Police Department and Three Rivers Fire Department, administered Narcan and CPR, successfully stabilizing the woman before transporting her to a local hospital.
The incident magnified the critical role of trained first responders including law enforcement, in handling addiction-related emergencies, which the Sheriff’s Office says is a serious public health issue.
