HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – A Jonesville, Michigan man charged in connection with a traffic accident that killed a teenager while the youngster was riding his bicycle is scheduled to go on trial in December.
20-year-old Seth Michael Magda has been charged with operating while intoxicated causing death.
The Hillsdale Daily News reports a two day trial is scheduled to start on December 4, 2018.
Bond has been set at $100,000.
The Michigan State Police say 16-year-old Braxton Petrie of Jonesville was struck by a vehicle on the night of June 19, 2018 on Mosherville Road near Borden Road.
Petrie later died from injuries sustained in the accident at Hillsdale Hospital.
