MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – In middle school basketball Monday, the Coldwater Legg Middle School 8th girls lost to Marshall 23-14.
Olivia Rinard pulled down 10 rebounds, scored 4 points, and had 3 steals. Natalie Esterline had 7 rebounds and was the leading scorer with 6 points. Kassidee Cole added 6 steals and 2 points. Kennedy Hapner added 5 rebounds.
The 7th grade A team lost to Marshall 38-35. Karagen Bucklin 13 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 blocks, Carly VanAken had 8 points, 2 steals, and 2 assists, McKenna Vainner scored 7 points with one steal, Bella Vanderpyl had 4 points and 10 rebounds, and Brooke Barle had 2 points, 6 rebounds, and one assist
The 7th grade B team lost at Marshall 16-14. Jordi Wilson had 5 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 steals, Annabelle Parris 2 points and one steal, Lylah Sanford had 5 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 points, and Evelyn McRea had 13 rebounds, 2 points, and 6 steals
The teams take on Harper Creek Wednesday.
