CONCORD, MI (WTVB) – Freshly crowned Big 8 Conference champion Concord improved to 20-1 overall and a perfect 14-0 in league play as they defeated visiting Union City 69-38. The loss, combined with Stockbridge’s 51-20 win against Reading, dropped the Chargers to third place in the Big 8 at 9-4. They fell to 15-6 overall and will host Bronson to close out the regular season on Thursday.
The Vikings will have some momentum heading into Thursday’s game, improving to 5-15 overall and 5-8 in the Big 8 with a 51-38 win at Maple Valley.
Elsewhere, Tekonsha fell to 0-17 overall and 0-12 in the SCAA East as the Indians lost at St. Philip 66-22 to close out the regular season. And Pansophia Academy fell to 0-11 with a 50-18 loss against visiting Britton Deerfield.
