COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School girls 8th grade basketball team fell to Harper Creek 35-25 Wednesday.
Olivia Rinard led the team with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 steals. Natalie Esterline had 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals. Brooklyn Powell added 4 points and 4 rebounds.
The 7th grade A team lost to Harper Creek 44-14.
Karagen Bucklin had 11 points, 2 steals, 4 rebounds, and 5 blocks, McKenna Vainner had 3 points and 2 steals, Carly VanAken had 1 steal, 4 rebounds, and one assist, while Bella Vanderpyl finished with 2 steals, 6 rebounds, and one assist.
The 7th grade B team lost at Harper Creek 13-10.
Jordi Wilson had 4 points, 4 steals, and 5 rebounds, Lylah Sanford had 8 steals and 7 rebounds, Evelyn McRea scored 4 points, with 7 steals and 8 rebounds, Lily Raymond had 2 rebounds and one steal, and Annabelle Parris one rebound.
The teams take on Jackson Northwest Tuesday, March 3.
