ALGANSEE TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police are investigating a pickup truck crash with injuries that happened late Tuesday afternoon in Branch County’s Algansee Township.
Troopers say a Hillsdale County woman, 24-year old Marissa Teachout of Montgomery, was driving on Grove Road east of Philip Road when she lost control of her double cab Ford F150 on a curve and ended up in a ditch. Branch County Central Dispatch said Teachout suffered a broken arm and shoulder and complained of head pain.
The crash was reported around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday with Life Care Ambulance and the Quincy Fire Department also responding to the scene.
Michigan State Police say Teachout was issued a ticket for speeding.
