Lisa was born May 7, 1970 in Coldwater, Michigan to Norman D. and Betty L. (Bradley) Carpenter. She grew up in Coldwater and graduated from Coldwater High School in 1988.
She was primarily a homemaker, but had worked at the bank in Quincy years ago. She lived in the Coldwater area most of her life, but lived in Pennsylvania from 2011 to 2021. After coming back to Coldwater, her health declined and she had to move to a nursing home in Marshall in 2025.
Lisa was brought up in the faith, attending the Batavia Church in her formative years. She was known by many to be very kind and caring. At times she could be stubborn, as many of us can be, but her great love for her grandson shone through in her life.
She didn’t have many hobbies, but she was always excited to attend the races at Butler Motor Speedway.
Lisa is survived by her only child, Tyler (Breanna Sheldon) Weller of Uniontown, PA; her father, Norman Carpenter of Coldwater; her brothers, Scott (Jan) Carpenter of Coldwater and Todd (Barb) Carpenter of Quincy; her special grandson, Easton Weller; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Rodney Carpenter, and her mother, Betty Carpenter, in 2024.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Tyler Weller, c/o Lighthouse, P.O. Box 161, Union City, MI 49094 to help with final expenses.
