COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Graduating seniors have until 3 p.m. this Friday, March 6, 2026, to submit applications for the Coldwater Police and Fire Scholarship.
Funded primarily through payroll deductions from local Public Safety employees, this initiative assists students from Coldwater High School and Pansophia Academy pursuing careers in fire science or criminal justice. Applicants are required to maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, and children of current department staff are not eligible.
Application materials for the scholarship are available through the Branch County Community Foundation or local school guidance offices.
Completed packets, including necessary transcripts and recommendations, must be turned in by the Friday deadline to be considered for funding at accredited two- or four-year institutions.
The program aims to support the next generation of local first responders.
