UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – In the aftermath of thd EF-3 tornado that struck the Union Lake area just outside Union City, and the village itself, there has been an outpouring of donations.
Union City High School has been a drop-off location, but mid-afternoon Saturday they announced no further donation of food or other supplies are needed.
In a media briefing Saturday afternoon at the site of the tornado touch down, Branch County Sheriff Fred Blankenship said monetary donations are best made to the department’s Victims Services Unit or the American Red Cross.
