COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – There has been a definite lack of snow around Branch County this winter but that is expected to change Monday night and Tuesday morning.
Branch County is included in a Winter Weather Advisory that has been issued by the National Weather Service which will be in effect from 5:00 p.m. Monday afternoon until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
The first significant winter storm of the season is expected to drop two to four inches of snow on Branch County. There could also be ice accumulations of a light glaze.
Forecasters say the greatest snowfall rates are expected in the mid to late evening hours on Monday night.
Drivers can expect slippery road conditions into Tuesday morning. Periods of light snow will likely continue into Tuesday.
