UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – Over the weekend we learned the identities of two of the three people killed in Fridays tornado.
65-year-old Penni Jo Guthrie of Union City was killed when the tornado destroyed her home on the north side of Union Lake. She died from injuries sustained during the storm.
54-year-old Keri Ann Johnson, a resident of Prairie Rose Lane near Guthrie’s home, also died from injuries sustained in the tornado. She was an employee at Archer Lake Watersports, where colleagues remembered her as a “great friend”.
Both were identified in obituaries posed on the Lighthouse Funeral and Cremation website.
The identity of the third victim has not yet been publicly released.
