QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy Community Schools has officially placed a bond proposal on the upcoming May 5, 2026, ballot, prompting a push for community engagement and transparency.
The district has launched a dedicated information portal on its website, providing residents with comprehensive details on specific project goals, the estimated tax impact, and answers to frequently asked questions.
Superintendent John Denney emphasizes that community understanding is vital as voters prepare to weigh in on the district’s future facility needs.
To further discuss the proposal, the district is hosting a community information meeting tonight, at 6:30 p.m. in the Middle School Cafeteria.
Those who attend tonight’s session will receive an overview of the proposed projects and financial data, followed by building tours to see the facility needs firsthand.
For those unable to attend, Denney encourages reaching out to his office directly or visiting the school website for more information.
Coldwater Community Schools held the first of two similar meetings on their upcoming bond proposal last night with a second scheduled for next Tuesday March 17, in the high school media center.
