COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County United Way has announced that its annual Power of the Purse fundraiser was another resounding success, raising a total of $58,474.31.
The event, which took place this past Saturday at the Dearth Community Center, brought together sponsors, volunteers, and attendees for a day focused on community support and early childhood literacy.
The funds raised will directly benefit the mission of the Branch County United Way and the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, which provides free books to children from birth to age five throughout the county.
By ensuring young learners have access to high-quality reading materials, the program aims to build strong literacy foundations before children even enter the classroom.
