Geneva Mae Watson, 90, of Union City, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Geneva will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Lighthouse Funeral and Cremation in Union City with Pastor Marty Burdick of the Union City Wesleyan Church officiating.
Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m.
She was born on November 22, 1932 Jesse and MayBell (Shellenberger) Inman in Athens Township. Geneva attended school in a country school near Factoryville. On December 13, 1947 she married Robert Watson ,he preceded her in death February 8, 2008. She enjoyed crocheting gardening reading ,watching birds, fishing, cooking and working alongside her daughter at their family dairy farm.
Surviving are her children Connie (Mike) Croad of Jonesville, Dolores (Jonathan) Dunks of Union City, Douglas (his dog Hero) Watson of Coldwater , Teresa (Bob Medford) Wooden of Sherwood, Bobby (Chris) Mathis of Union City; grandchildren Kiara Withers, Sara (Brian) Gulick, Bradley Heath, Matthew (Julie) Dunks, Daniel Dunks, Darren Musoff, Kelly Musoff, Douglas Wooden, Garrett Wooden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Debra Marie Gunther, grandson Stevie Heath, brothers Elmer Inman, Lyman Inman, Elgin Inman, Nile Inman, sisters, Hazel Bailey, Daisey Robertson, and Eva Forres.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Union City Wesleyan Church.
