COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The boys high school soccer season kicks off around the state of Michigan today, and for Coldwater, that means a special matinee doubleheader.
The Cardinals junior varsity team will take on Woodhaven Brownstone, a Division One school located just north of Monroe, Michigan, at 12 noon today. The varsity game will follow at around 1:45 p.m.
The Coldwater varsity team is coming off a Final Four finish in Division Two last year, losing to eventual state champion Holland High School in the state semifinals.
Quincy will also open its boys soccer season at home, hosting Leslie at 5:30 p.m. today.
In girls golf, Coldwater will play today in the Western Invitational at the Arbor Hills Golf Course.
